 A clash of heads cut Arthur in the second round |
Commonwealth Games gold medallist Jamie Arthur says he will bounce back from his first professional defeat. The Cwmbran super featherweight, 25, was stopped in the third round against Haider Ali on Friday because of a cut sustained in a clash of heads.
Cuts have plagued his 10-fight professional career, but Arthur has pledged to fix the trouble.
"I'll sit down with my management team to get it sorted, we want to move on and win big fights," he told BBC Sport.

"I believe I would have beaten Ali, but we had a clash of heads in the second round. "I have prominent eyebrows and I knew straight away that there was a problem.
"I wanted to keep my unbeaten record. That's gone now, but I'll be back against Ali, then I want a Celtic title and then maybe a world belt.
"Other boxers like Ricky Hatton have come back from trouble with cuts to win titles. This isn't the last you've seen of Jamie Arthur."
Arthur's trainer Tony Borg says that the camp will seek the advice of the Harley Street plastic surgeon who worked on Hatton.
