The pressure is on Calzaghe to fight a big name

Joe Calzaghe's career remains in limbo after a year of crushing anti-climax.

Having blown a shot at the IBF light heavyweight title, he saw Antonio Tarver and Glen Johnson each KO Roy Jones and arrange their own mega-clash.

Calzaghe continues to target Johnson, that fight's winner, but he is far from the top box-office draw in the States.

Pressure is on promoter Frank Warren, but with concerns that Calzaghe is past his peak an uninspiring defence against Mario Veit seems next on his list.

Warren has to deliver for Enzo Maccarinelli as well as Calzaghe.
