Marco Antonio Barrera made a successful comeback to the ring by stopping Paulie Ayala in the tenth round. In his first fight since losing to Manny Pacquiao last November, Barrera put his opponent on the canvas three times in Los Angeles, California. And the Mexican featherweight finished Ayala off in the tenth round to serve warning to division rivals. On the under card, middleweight Jermain Taylor stopped Raul Marquez to win the WBC Continental Americas title.
