Arthur is waiting on a doctor's report on his injured knee |
Former British super-featherweight champion Alex Arthur is expected to be sidelined until July after suffering a knee injury while jogging. The 25-year-old Scot, who had been due to defend his IBF Intercontinental title next month, slipped over while training at the weekend.
A spokesman for Arthur said: "We are waiting on a doctor's report.
"We don't think it's too serious but we are trying to establish when he can train and then reschedule the fight."
Arthur's stablemate Scott Harrison has also had to postpone a fight after suffering a wrist injury.
The featherweight star was due to defend his WBO title against William Abelyan on 29 May but the fight has been postponed until 19 June.
