Eastman gets September date
|  Eastman is still chasing a world title shot despite dominating in Europe |
European middleweight champion Howard Eastman will return to the ring on 24 September to make a mandatory defence of his title against Jorge Sendra. The "Battersea Bomber" is desperate to impress as he steps up his bid for a bout with top American Bernard Hopkins. On the undercard Carl Froch will finally get his crack at Tony Dodson's British super middleweight belt. The pair had been due to fight on two prior occasions but Dodson was forced to pull out with injuries.
