Calzaghe left in limbo
The Calzaghe camp are in the dark about Joe's next opponent
Joe Calzaghe is no nearer to knowing who his next opponent will be after Thursday's cancellation of a press conference to announce his next fight.

The Welshman is due to be headlining the bill along with Audley Harrison's heavyweight bout against Matt Skelton.

But an argument between Harrison and Frank Warren, who promotes Calzaghe and Skelton, has derailed plans.

Calzaghe does not even know if he will defend his WBO super middleweight title or move up to light heavyweight.

Former Olympic gold medallist Harrison refused to turn up in London to publicise the fight against British champion Skelton, claiming that Warren had announced the fight without his knowledge.

That left an unhappy Calzaghe camp still in the dark about his next step, whether to make a 15th defence of his title or move up a weight division.
