Toney beat Holyfield in eight rounds |
Heavyweight contender James Toney has hit out at his next opponent Jameel McCline ahead of their IBF eliminator bout in Las Vegas on 7 February. Toney, who became the first man to stop Evander Holyfield in his top-weight debut, faces McCline for the right to challenge Chris Byrd for a world title.
And the one-time middleweight has made it clear that he expects to win easily.
"I see this fight like that scene in the Rocky movie where he is hitting a slab of meat," Toney said.
"That is what I will be doing against McCline. People think it is going to be difficult but it is going to be an easy fight."
