Live on BBC 1 l Sat 4 Oct l 2325 (BST) David Walker has a chance to enhance his growing reputation when he steps up in class to take on Russia's Roman Karmazin.
The 27-year-old Briton will challenge for the European light-middleweight title.
In his previous fight, Walker climbed off the canvas twice to knock down and stop Spencer Fearon in the fourth round and add to the buzz of excitement around his bouts.
However, last year, Walker's career seemed in tatters after he lost one of the great domestic battles of recent years when stopped in eight tough rounds by Jimmy Vincent.
Since that fight, which was at welterweight, Walker has moved up to light-middleweight and in May he produced a devastating performance to beat the highly regarded John 'Boy' Humphrey.
Now Walker's camp believe he is ready for the world class Karmizan and thousands will pack Alexandra Palace to see if the home-grown boxer can pull off a sensational victory.
