Evander Holyfield has vowed to keep fighting until he regains his world heavyweight crown. The former champion, 40, takes on James Toney in a non-title fight in Las Vegas on 4 October.
Holyfield has refused to set a retirement date, despite threats from Toney that his next fight will be his last.
"The end is when I'm undisputed champion of the world and I can't put that into a timeframe," Holyfield said.
"People like making money and when I fight people come to watch.
"I'm sure neither one of the champions want to fight me but because the big payday is there they will come along."
Holyfield failed to impress in his last fight, losing on points to Chris Byrd for the then-vacant IBF belt in December 2002.
He will need to secure bouts against Byrd, Roy Jones (WBA) and Lennox Lewis (WBC) to realise his dream of becoming undisputed heavyweight champion.
But Toney insists that he is out to end Holyfield's career.
"This will be your last fight," he told Holyfield.
Toney, the reigning 34-year-old IBF cruiserweight champion, will be fighting as a heavyweight for the first time.
