Olympic 110m hurdles champion Dayron Robles will not race at the London Grand Prix on Saturday because of nagging leg injuries. Robles' coach Santiago Antunez said the Cuban is close to recovery but is not yet fit to compete. "He is training well, put he still has more to do - to polish some things. Because of this we have decided not to run in London," said Antunez. Robles, 23, is expected to return in Brussels on 27 August. Robles, who holds the 110m hurdles world record of 12.87 seconds, has pulled out of several meets since winning at the Athletissima meeting in Lausanne, Switzerland in July. Robles was one of the winners at Rome's Diamond League meeting in June He complained of leg pain after his race, prompting Antunez to keep him from racing. "Dayron is recovering," added Antunez. "He's training full speed without problems. But we don't want to rush it or take risks. He will only compete when he is in top condition."
