 Kent-born Dobriskey races for Loughborough University |
Commonwealth champion Lisa Dobriskey hopes to help Loughborough University celebrate the 50th anniversary of their athletics meeting in style on Sunday. The traditional curtain-raiser will see Loughborough take on teams from England, Scotland and Wales as well as a Great Britain Under-20 side. The Ashford 1500m runner will race for her university side this weekend. She told BBC Radio Leicester: "I always enjoy competing on home turf, there's always a great buzz." After competing at the World Indoor Championships in the 3,000m Dobriskey is now  | After running a personal best I fell in love with the place | focusing on the event that she hopes will bring her an Olympic medal in Beijing, the 1500m. She admits he loves racing at the East Midlands venue.
