Robbie Callister won the 2007 Isle of Man Parish Walk |
Organisers of the Isle of Man's 85-mile Parish Walk say they are on course to beat last year's entry. Around 1,300 people took part in the 2007 race, which takes in all of the island's parishes and will this year be held on Saturday 21 June. Race Director Ray Cox told Manx Radio: "There will be a reduced fee for all entries that come in before Saturday, then the final closing date is 10 May. "We are currently on target to beat last year's entry of 1,300." People interested in taking part can register at www.parishwalk.com
