Radcliffe recently returned to action |
Paula Radcliffe is among 43 athletes who will receive support from UK Athletics' World Class Podium top-tier programme ahead of the 2008 Olympics. The New York Marathon winner is likely to benefit from training and medical help, rather than financial backing.
UKA have increased the WCP pool by seven this year.
They have specifically funded members of their relay teams who otherwise would not qualify under the strict individual criteria.
Most of those eligible will receive a grant of between 11,965 and 23,930.
UKA performance director Dave Collins said: "The relay provides us with outstanding returns in terms of medals against investment.

"A proportion of the increase in numbers receiving podium support is to ensure the relay programme does not falter in what is a key Olympic year.
"We have a number of talented young athletes who are part of the various relay squads and the experience they gain will be crucial in their development of their individual event."
Malachi Davis and Graham Hedman, both 400 metres runners, have lost WCP status along with 1500m runners Michael East and Nick McCormic, long-jumper Jade Johnson and marathon runner Jon Brown.
Christine Ohuruogu, who won the 400m world title after returning from a one-year drugs suspension in August, is also not listed.
It is understood that her entitlement to funding will be discussed after her appeal against a lifetime Olympic ban later this month.
