Kaouch tested positive after winning this race in Rome

Kaouch, who took silver at the last world championships in Helsinki, tested positive for an unnamed substance after winning the 1500m at the meet.

Kaouch is currently awaiting the results of his "B" sample.

Kaouch was expected to be among the medal contenders at this month's world championships in Osaka, Japan.
