Devonish is now sixth on the British 100m all-time list |
Marlon Devonish plans to double up in the 100m and 200m at the World Championships in Osaka in August. On Tuesday, the Great Britain captain set a new lifetime best of 10.06 secs and on Sunday he impressed as he came second to world number one Tyson Gay.
"The aim is to double up. At the moment, the 100m is looking my best event. It's great that the 100m is first in Osaka," he said.
"I showed I can mix it with the likes of Gay when they're running well."
