Lewis-Francis failed to make it through the heats in Oslo recently |
Mark Lewis-Francis, Darren Campbell and Jason Gardener have all pulled out of the Great Britain and Northern Ireland team for the European Cup next week. Lewis-Francis is out with a hamstring injury while Campbell and Gardener both have ongoing back problems.
Craig Pickering, Harry Aikines Aryeetey and Dwayne Grant will take their places in the 4x100m relay team in Malaga.
Emma Ania has withdrawn from the women's relay team because of illness with Anyika Onuora taking her place.
"All the athletes are obviously very disappointed but have acted professionally in not travelling whilst carrying injury or illness," said UK Athletics senior performance manager for speed John Trower.
"In selecting replacements in the men's squad we have three very strong performers - Craig was part of the Helsinki relay squad, Dwayne played a part in the Athens squad and Harry is well established in the relay programme.
"Anyika is the natural replacement for Emma who has sadly been taken ill, but has done the right thing in pulling out."
