Sprinter Marion Jones will run the 100m at the Golden Gala in Rome next month. The 30-year-old American, who has a record five Olympic track medals to her name, will be appearing at the 14 July meeting for the first time since 2002.
Jones, who will take on compatriot Allyson Felix, has twice run 11.06 seconds this season, the fourth-fastest time in the world this year.
Asafa Powell will run in the men's 100m but is not expected to face joint world record-holder Justin Gatlin.
