Sebrle was never threatened by his rivals in Gothenburg |
Olympic decathlon champion Roman Sebrle wants to continue competing until the 2012 Olympics in London. The 31-year-old Czech, who successfully defended his European crown in Sweden last week, said: "It is my dream."
But he told Czech daily newspaper Sport: "However, I must be in good health. In athletics you are either in good shape or injured."
Sebrle is the first man since Britain's Daley Thompson in 1986 to win back-to-back European titles.
He has held the world record of 9,026 points since May 2001.
