Okoro gets Commonwealth 800m spot
Marilyn Okoro has been called into England's Commonwealth Games team to replace the retired Dame Kelly Holmes.

Okoro, along with Jemma Simpson, will race in the 800m in Melbourne in March.

The London-born 21-year-old, whose personal best is 2:01.90, won the 800m bronze medal for Great Britain at the World University Games in August.

"Being selected for Melbourne is exciting, but replacing Dame Kelly is also a bit scary," she said. "This will be the biggest event of my career."

Okoro is due to complete the final year of her degree in French and Politics at the University of Bath next summer.
