Dame Kelly Holmes has announced plans to compete at all four televised meetings in the UK this summer. Holmes will return to the outdoor track at the Norwich Union International in Glasgow on 5 June, and will also race in Manchester, London and Sheffield.
"My two indoor appearances in Glasgow and Birmingham were incredible. I was overwhelmed with the level of support from the crowds," said Holmes.
"That sort of public ovation makes it so much fun to race in Britain."
The 34-year-old, who will also compete on the European circuit, did not compete at last week's European Indoor Championships in Spain because of injury and is eager to make up for lost time.
"I was keen to make the four major domestic meetings the bedrock of my outdoor season," she added.
"Of course it was disappointing to miss out on Madrid, but I'll bounce back strong as ever from that with the match in Glasgow.
"The standard of the UK Athletics meetings is always high - and they are always well supported.
"We're lucky in Britain to have such strong events in our own backyard and it's always a thrill for the British guys to be able to take on the best in the world here in our own country."
Holmes collected her Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire insignia at Buckingham Palace on Wednesday.
