Yelling powers to New Zealand win

Yelling is currently in heavy training for April's London Marathon
Liz Yelling won the Wellington half marathon in New Zealand on Sunday.

The British Olympic marathon runner had to battle against gale force winds before clinching a deserved victory.

The Bedford runner clocked a time of one hour, 15 minutes and 55 seconds, for the 13.1 miles, a decent time given the testing conditions.

Yelling went into the race just three days after running 23 miles in training as part of her preparations for the Flora London Marathon on 17 April.
