Britain's Jo Pavey is out of Friday's Zurich Golden League meeting and the Norwich Union British Grand Prix on Sunday with a kidney infection. Pavey struggled to a disappointing 15th place in the World Championships 5,000m final last Saturday in Helsinki.
She said: "I knew something was wrong before the final as I kept waking up during the night soaked in sweat and had dizzy feelings during the day.
"I do not remember anything about the last few laps. I was in a bad state."
