World 1500m silver medallist Kelly Holmes went down to a suprise defeat at the hands of Alesya Turova at the GE Galan indoor meeting in Stockholm. Holmes' time, four minutes 4.83 seconds, was her second-best indoor 1500m, but Turova clocked the world's best time this year, 4:04.42.
Hayley Tullett kept up her good start to the season, coming home third in a new Welsh record time of 4:05.63.
European junior 800m silver medallist Charlotte Moore was eighth in 4:17.05.
