American sprinter Kelli White, who failed a drugs test during the world championships, will take part in the Moscow meeting later this month. White is almost certain to be stripped of the 100m and 200m titles she won in Paris after the stimulant Modafinil was found in her doping sample.
White, 26, claims she needs the drug to combat the effects of the sleeping sickness narcolepsy.
The International Association of Athletics Federations have rejected White's explanation for the presence of the drug.
However, White will run in the invitational meeting in Russia on 20 September, where she could collect $75,000 dollars for a victory.
