Radcliffe is ready for a strong test |
Paula Radcliffe will run at the Norwich Union London Grand Prix on 8 August.
Radcliffe, who last ran in a British track meeting at the Commonwealth Games, will compete at the Crystal Palace event two weeks before the world championships in Paris.
"After Manchester last year, I really wanted to fit in a UK track meet this year, and they don't come any bigger than the Norwich Union Grand Prix", said Radcliffe on Tuesday.
"The field at this event is always of the highest quality, and a strong test is just what I will want at that stage of the season.

"The timing is perfect. Hopefully it will be the ideal send-off from a British crowd before heading for the world championships."
Organisers have yet to confirm which distance Radcliffe, who recently smashed her own world record to win the London Marathon in two hours 15 mins and 25 seconds, will race in London.
UK Athletics chief Dave Moorcroft said: "Paula is one of the biggest names in world athletics and it is a huge boost that we will have her at the biggest date in the domestic track season."
Ian Stewart, of meeting organisers Fast Track, added: "Attracting Paula to London was always one of our main targets this year.
"Negotiations are ongoing with all the biggest names in the sport to ensure that this meeting, and all the other live televised events, has a quality of field comparable to any other in the world."
