Women's winners Holy Cross celebrate with their trophy |
Your Game rolled into Manchester with the third round of the BBC's national five-a-side football competition.
More than 150 young men and women from Greater Manchester descended on the Salford Sports Village for the right to represent the city at the national final at St James' Park in Newcastle in May.
As well as a keenly contested football tournament, all the players had the chance test their DJ skills with Radio 1Xtra, as well as commentating under the watchful eye of Five Live's Conor MacNamara.
The Football Association was also on hand to offer free coaching and refereeing courses, while the players had the chance to hone their skills with community coaches from Manchester City and Manchester United.
Both the women's and the men's cup finals were tense affairs.
The women's final between Holy Cross and Rochdale Ladies went all the way to penalties after superb goalkeeping kept the score to 1-1 at the end of normal time.
And it was Holy Cross who kept their nerve from the spot to book their place in the national final.

"Its been great, even better because we won!" said one of the victorious Holy Cross team.
"We've all had a go at DJing, credit to all the other teams because we've all got on and had a laugh."
After a titanic struggle in the men's final, a dramatic late winner gave Screaming Wheels a narrow 1-0 victory over FC Basa, a team from Rochdale representing the Bangladeshi Arts and Sports Association.
"It's good to see so many teams from so many deprived wards of Manchester playing together," said FC Basa team manager Dewan.
"It's been an eye-opener to see that the BBC is not just about Match of the Day and Eastenders."

Joining the two cup winners in the national final were the two teams judged to have displayed the best spirit of fair play throughout the day - Nacro Ladies and Spotland Golden.
"It's been an excellent experience for us just to meet different people and experience different styles of play, and we'll take that to Newcastle," said one of the Spotland team after receiving their award from former England defender Richard Jobson.
Among the spectators on the sidelines were local community support officers from Greater Manchester Police, who discussed setting up football training sessions with some of the teams involved.
Your Game is a partnership between the BBC, the Football Association, the Premier League, Kick it Out, the Football Foundation, Street League and the Professional Footballers' Association.
