It was a close-run competition with Lurgan's Niall Creery providing the winning entry.
Niall, a 33-year-old aeronautical engineer working at Dublin airport, now lives in Laois and is a keen amateur photographer.
A member of the Clann Eireann club, he provided an excellent study of a dejected Sinead McCleary after the Ladies were beaten by Kerry side Abbeydorney in the All-Ireland Intermediate football final at Banagher.
"Everyone, including myself, who travelled from Armagh that day were gutted," said Niall.
"But I suppose the photographic instinct in me told me to take this shot. I suppose you could say the player was at a low ebb, gutted and very tearful.
"I thought the sitting position, the gutters and the mud and water emphasised her sadness."
Niall receives a Championship jersey and ball for his winning snap. Thanks to everyone who took part, and start thinking about ideas for next season.
