Former Celtic Warriors back-row player Nathan Budgett has signed for the Cardiff Blues. The Blues have injury worries over back-row pair Dan Baugh and Rob Appleyard so Budgett, capped 11 times by Wales, is an excellent addition.
The 28-year-old is one of the last of the Warriors to find a place with one of the remaining four regions.
The Arms Park has been a favourite destination for ex-Warriors, with Budgett the eighth to arrive.
The Blues are also planning to play a pre-season friendly at Pontypridd's Sardis Road ground.
They plan to play Rotherham in August as part of the region's expansion into the former Warriors territory.
