Spice will contest the scrum-half berth with Andy Williams |
The Ospreys have signed Wellington Hurricanes scrum-half Jason Spice on a two-year contract. The uncapped 29-year-old, who has 48 Super 12 appearances to his name, was in the All Blacks squad in 2001.
He will contest the number-nine jersey at the west Glamorgan regional side with Wales squad member Andy Williams.
Ospeys and Wales lock Gareth Llewellyn, who was transfer listed in January, is being linked with a move to Italian club Leonessa.
Llewellyn, who hopes to break Neil Jenkins' record as the most-capped Welsh international on this summer's tour, has a year left on his Ospreys contract, but is not expected to play for the regional team again.
