Brownrigg can play in the back or second row |
Jim Brownrigg will rejoin Bristol at the end of the season. The versatile 26-year-old, who can play in the back or second row, has made 15 appearances for Cardiff Blues since signing from Bristol last summer.
"Signing a player of this quality backs our belief that we will achieve a top three finish next season," said Shoguns coach Richard Hill.
Paul Hodgson has signed for London Irish and Richard Skuse has rejected a new contract at Bristol.
Jason Hobson, Chris Morgan, Danny Gray and Rob Higgitt have all signed new two-year contracts at the club, though.
The Blues have signed a four-year deal with Canterbury of New Zealand to supply all on-field, training and leisure wear to the playing squad, as well as being the exclusive supplier of their branded merchandise.
