 Freshwater's last England appearance was against Ireland |
England prop Perry Freshwater will be out of action for two months after undergoing surgery on a serious injury to his right elbow. The Kiwi-born player, who last played for England in February's 43-13 loss to Ireland, suffered the injury playing for club side Perpignan on Sunday.
Freshwater was left out of England's trip to South Africa because of his club commitments in the French league.
With one game left before the play-offs Perpignan are fifth in the league.
