Workington Town's miserable start to the season continued with an 18-6 defeat by Lezignan in the Challenge Cup third round on Saturday. The French champions scored three converted tries to stun the Cumbrian side, who responded with a converted try from Australian prop Jerrad Stack. The defeat leaves Dave Rotheram's side without a win in four, following a trio of Northern Rail Cup defeats. Their final NRC tie against Swinton Lions takes place on Wednesday.
