Claude Dumas waits for injury news on Jason Cassells' finger |
Telford Tigers plan a formal complaint about what they see as roughhouse tactics from Swindon in Sunday's clash. Forward Jason Cassells was taken to hospital after tempers boiled in the final minutes of Tigers' 4-0 home win. Cassells' suspected broken finger was later found to be tendon damage, but he may miss forthcoming matches. "If a team gets away with that kind of behaviour, they'll do it again," said coach Claude Dumas, as Tigers prepared a report to the English Premier League. "Sunday had been a good competitive game," Dumas told the club website. "It had not been particularly physical. Nobody did anything dirty, so I don't believe there was any reason for it to end like that. "There was no provocation. It was just down to frustration and, in a league of this standard, I don't think it should be tolerated."
