The young netminder impressed when stepping into the side for the final weekend of the season.

"We know Josh is a prospect for the future, so we wanted to give him a go," said coach Claude Dumas. "He faced a few shots and did his job well." Dumas knows he has to bring in new faces for next season. "We need more bodies - but we have a small budget and have to run with what we can afford."

Tigers wrapped up their season with home and away wins over Chelmsford - but a poor run in the New Year saw them fall short of the play-offs.

"As a whole I am satisfied with the season," added Dumas. "We were in the last play-off slot until last month and it is sad we didn't stay there till the end - but compared to last year we were much more competitive.

"We've beaten every team except Slough and Milton Keynes this season, so I am looking at the year positively."
