Great Britain's four adaptive rowing crews all begin their campaigns at the World Rowing Championships at Dorney Lake in Eton on Friday. The mixed coxed four, who are defending champions, will be among the favourites to reach Sunday's final.
The team were dealt a blow when Katie-George Dunlevy was forced to pull out with a rib injury.
It means Naomi Riches comes in to join Victoria Hansford, Alastair McKean, Alan Crowther and cox Alan Sherman.
They will take on Canada, Hong Kong, Brazil and Italy crews in the first of the two semi-finals.
The other semi-final sees crews from the Netherlands, Australia, Portugal, Croatia and the USA doing battle.
In the mixed double scull, Karen Cromie, who is also part of the GB women's wheelchair basketball squad, and James Roberts, who has switched sports from swimming, team up.
They will come up against tough competition from the three-time unbeaten world champions Angela Madsen and Scott Brown, in the USA boat.
Helene Raynsford, who is also part of the GB wheelchair basketball squad, will bid to become the first world champion in the women's arms only single scull.
Londoner Shaun Sewell, who has been rowing for about 18 months, will compete in the men's arms only single scull where he will face last year's champion Australia's Dominic Monypenny and bronze medallist Ron Harvey, from the United States.
