Hoy won the 1km time trial gold in Athens |
Sydney gold medallist Jason Queally expects to beat his Athens successor Chris Hoy when they meet in Saturday's Revolution 6 meeting in Manchester. Queally will race with Ross Edgar against Hoy and Craig MacLean in a 500m flying start team sprint.
"I expect Ross and I are going to win. We've both been racing while Chris has done a lot of travelling and Craig hasn't raced for a while," he said.
Triple Olympic medallist Bradley Wiggins will race in the Madison event.
Wiggins will compete with Rob Hayles, with whom he won an Olympic bronze, to go with his gold from the pursuit and silver from the team pursuit.
The invitational event will be one of the few chances for a British audience to see Wiggins in action on the track over the next 12 months because he will concentrate on road racing next year.
Nicole Cooke, winner of last year's women's Giro d'Italia, will make a rare appearance on the track in a points race.
