Plymouth Raiders were edged by Glasgow Rocks in a hard-fought game at the Plymouth Pavilions on Sunday as the visitors moved up to third. In the first quarter, the Raiders came out of the blocks the quicker, resulting in an early 9-2 lead before a 10-point burst from Glasgow. Both teams traded baskets for majority of the quarter, but it was the Rocks who ended the period the stronger. In the second, the Raiders re-took the lead midway through the period at 37-34 off the back of a 13-3 tear and led 41-39 at the break. In the second half Gary Stronach's men opened the scoring, but the Rocks once again responded immediately. In the final period, Glasgow extend their advantage over their hosts again by 15 and Raiders fought to narrow the gap but it was too little too late.
