A new BBC Two series called Olympic Dreams is following some of Britain's finest talent as they strive for glory at London 2012.
Watch the drama unfold as the likes of heptathlete Jessica Ennis, 13-year-old diver Tom Daley and BMX champion Shanaze Reade give an insight into what it takes to be the best.
It will be a long and emotional journey as these young hopefuls battle gruelling training schedules, selection heartache, injuries, poor facilities and increasing nerves.

The week-long series runs from Monday 17 December at 1400 GMT until Friday 21 December and will continue with a second instalment next year.
