 Eamonn McGee scored a crucial late goal for Donegal |
Donegal snatched a dramatic victory in Castlebar thanks to an injury-time goal scored by centre-back Eamonn McGee. Mayo had been 11 points to seven up at the interval with Conor Mortimer getting five of their points.
Colm McFadden, who also scored five in the first half, had a penalty saved by debutant keeper Shane Mallon.
Ryan Bradley got a fisted goal early in the second half and McGee's late score made it two wins from two for Donegal in Division One.
