The Irish Superbike meeting at Kirkistown on Monday was abandoned midway through the afternoon due to high winds and a low track temperature.

After four competitors were taken to hospital with minor injuries it was decided to call a halt to racing.

Five races were completed including the Supersport event which was won by Ian Lowry followed by Alistair Seeley, Keith Amor and Cameron Donald.

Paul Robinson claimed victory ahead of Mark Lunney in the 125cc race.

Scobie Killough won the sidecars, Lee Hill took the Minitwins honours and James Conroy came home first in the classic race.

The decision to call off the meeting was taken following consultation between officials and riders.
