| Poland coach Pawel Janas said he was relieved his side finally got off the mark at the World Cup with victory over Costa Rica, even though they are out. Janas said after the 2-1 victory: "It would have been a pity to go home without any points or goals. "We were criticised because we couldn't score through set pieces but today we did and I'm happy. It was hot and I'm glad the team responded to my tactics. "I have not thought about resigning and I am not going to decide right now."
