Corinthians and Castletown book semi-final places

Corinthians won all three domestic trophies last season

Corinthians are through to the semi-finals of the Floodlit Cup after they thrashed Colby 9-0 on Sunday.

Last year's treble winners have won all four of their games so far, with a positive goal difference of 32.

Megan Loughran and Rachel Quirk both hit hat-tricks for the Whites, with Natalie Johnson, Anna Dillon and former skipper Sarah O'Reilly also on target.

Meanwhile, Castletown complete the semi-final line-up, despite losing 2-1 to Peel in their final game.

Emma Faulkner scored both goals for the westerners with Justine Carran on target for Castletown.

Both semi-finals will be played on Sunday, 22 January at the National Sports Centre in Douglas.

Corinthians will face Ballafletcher rivals Douglas Royal, before Castletown play Gymns.

The final will be played the following Sunday.
