 King has hit 13 goals for Watford this season |
Watford striker Marlon King has been named as the Championship's player of the month for January. King, 25, only scored one goal during the month - in the 4-1 success against Crewe - but helped the Hornets to four consecutive League victories.
He now has 13 goals for the season after making his loan move from Nottingham Forest permanent in January.
The other contenders were Preston's Dave Nugent, Reading's Marcus Hahnemann and Sheffield United's Phil Jagielka.
