Peterborough United have signed experienced Hartlepool midfielder Gavin Strachan on a short-term contract until the end of the season. The 28-year-old had been at London Road on a loan deal until 27 January but has now joined Posh permanently.
Strachan told Peterborough's website: "This is a good opportunity for me.
"It is a weight off my mind because you are in limbo when loan spells end. I can now focus on my football and help Posh with their promotion push."
