 Harewood wants to fire Forest into the Premiership |
Marlon Harewood wants to put Nottingham Forest back where he feels they belong - in the Premiership.
It is four years since the City Ground side last left the top flight of English football, and the 23-year old striker thinks it is time they re-claimed their place among the elite.
After Harewood's astonishing four-goal haul in his side's recent 6-0 demolition of Stoke, he is trying as hard as anyone to make the First Division a distant memory.
"This league is so weird, you just don't know who's going to win and who's going to lose sometimes," Harewood told this website.
"The lads just go out there and try and win all the games, because the way we are playing at the moment we deserve to be winning our games.

"You've just got to take each game on its merit because occasionally you are going to have a blip like we did at Christmas and other teams catch up.
"But we are so confident at the moment. We just want to do so well for each other and it's a great feeling when you are playing in a team with such a fantastic spirit," he added.
The production line of the Forest academy means that Harewood has grown up with many of the Forest first-team squad.
He believes this is a key ingredient of the club's recent good form.
"Forest have become renowned for bringing through youth players and giving them a chance in the first team.
"It's awesome how the academy nurtures these players and it's great that so many like JJ (Jermaine Jenas) and Prutts (David Prutton) came through together at the same time.
"I think the main change from last season when we struggled a bit is that the young players have a bit more experience now, and have learned to be a bit more consistent."
The man most responsible for dragging Forest out of the lower reaches of Division One is manager Paul Hart, and Harewood is quick to heap praise on the club's former academy coach.
"The manager is the reason why we are near the top and why we are playing such good football," he admitted.
"He drums into us all the time in training how he wants us to play and he's got the players to do it now.
"He knows how every individual wants to play and because he knows us all so well if we aren't doing what he wants he is very quick to remind us."
