Michal Pospisil has scored just twice this season |
Hearts striker Michal Pospisil has turned down the chance of moving to Bristol City. The clubs had agreed a fee of around 100,000 for the Czech player but he could not agree personal terms with the English League One side.
His agent, Elliot van Til, told BBC Scotland: "Michal was very flattered by the interest shown by Bristol City and he was very impressed by the manager.
"But he's decided to stay with Hearts and fight for his place."
Van Till continued, "He'll review the situation at the end of the season".
City boss Gary Johnson had recognised that trying to convince the Czech to move to Ashton Gate from the Scottish Premier League outfit could prove difficult.
"He's still got 18 months left on his Hearts contract and may decide to stay there," Johnson had said.
City have signed Wycombe forward Kevin Betsy for an initial fee of 150,000, which could rise to 200,000 depending on contractual clauses. He completed the move to Ashton Gate before the weekend, but was unable to feature in their FA Cup tie with Middlesbrough.
