Dereham play in the Eastern Counties Premier Division - four levels below the Conference - and are managed by ex-Mariners striker Rob Taylor.

Taylor, who took over as boss of the Norfolk outfit in January, has now recommended White to his old club, who are set to field him in a reserve game.

The Mariners are also set to give defender Rob Jones his first game since recovering from a hernia operation.
