Stubbs has made 156 appearances in two spells with Everton |
Everton defender Alan Stubbs has signed a one-year contract extension. The 34-year-old centre-half, who has made 156 appearances during his two spells with the Toffees, now has a deal which takes him up to summer 2007.
Former Celtic player Stubbs joined Everton in 2001 and spent four years at Goodison Park before leaving to join Sunderland on a free transfer.
But he made just 11 appearances for the Black Cats and returned to Everton in January this year.
