Easter joined Plymouth from Wycombe Wanderers in January 2008

Colchester United have signed striker Jermaine Easter on loan from Plymouth Argyle until January 2009.

The Wales international had been with Millwall but was recalled from his loan at the New Den so he could link up with the U's.

The 26-year-old played under Colchester boss Paul Lambert at his former club Wycombe Wanderers.

He has gone straight into the squad for the League One trip to Peterborough United this weekend.
