Carlisle United have denied claims that the club have agreed a 500,000 deal with Nottingham Forest for teenage striker Joe Garner.
Reports suggest the 19-year-old, who scored 14 times in 30 league appearances last season, has agreed a move to the City Ground.
Carlisle have told BBC Radio Cumbria that Garner is still their player.
The League One club refused to confirm whether an offer had been made for the former Blackburn forward.
Garner, who is ruled out of action until December after suffering cruciate knee ligament damage, has attracted interest from a number of Championship sides following several outstanding displays in his first season with the Cumbrians.
Carlisle confirmed in January that they had turned down at least one 1m bid for Garner during the transfer window.
